Knowledge Sharing on the Decommissioning of Marine Installations

By ILPC

International Legal and Policy Consulting (ILPC) had the honour of conducting a two-week knowledge-sharing programme for personnel from Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) on the international legal framework governing the decommissioning of marine installations in the territorial sea and the exclusive economic zone (EEZ).

The programme was conducted by Ms. Aye Myat Thu, Managing Director of ILPC. It provided an opportunity to discuss the legal principles relevant to the removal and decommissioning of installations in these maritime zones, as well as to exchange views on their application in practice.

ILPC would like to express its sincere appreciation to MOGE for its participation and for the opportunity to share knowledge on this important subject.

We remain committed to supporting professional development and informed discussion on international law and maritime affairs.

The photographs below capture moments from the two-week programme.
